Ed Berg held the Ecologist position for the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge for 17 years, prior to his retirement in 2010. He has been an adjunct instructor in Geology at the Kenai Peninsula College since 1983. He holds a PhD in Botany from the University of Georgia. June 17, 2016

Eric Miller has worked in the area of fire ecology for 17 years, starting as a Fire Effects Monitor in Yellowstone National Park where he worked for eight years. He came to the Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Fire Service as a Fire Ecologist in 2008. His educational background is in botany and plant community ecology. June 22, 2016
